Dr Seshanand Rao earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, with a specialization in Hospital Medicine (hospitalists care for patients in the acute care setting). He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr Rao's professional interests include diagnostic adult medicine, patient safety and quality improvement, medical education, and leadership development. Dr Rao currently serves as the division director for hospital-based specialties in the Greater Austin Region at Baylor Scott & White Health.
