Matthew Stephen, MD

Dr Stephen Ponder chose a career in health care following his diagnosis of type 1 diabetes at age 9, an experience that inspired his dedication to pediatric endocrinology. He finds great fulfillment in caring for children and adolescents with endocrine conditions and diabetes, working closely with families to help them achieve healthy, well-balanced lives. Outside of clinical practice, Dr Ponder is actively involved in community service, including directing a residential diabetes camp program and supporting a free clinic for uninsured children. He and his wife also enjoy spending time with their grandchildren.

Rajani Prabhakaran, MD, is a pediatric endocrinologist and diabetes specialists at Dell Children's in Austin and Round Rock, Texas. Dr Oliver, a native of Georgetown, TX, completed his undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts at The University of Texas at Austin before attending medical school at UT Health Science Center at Houston. He is a family medicine physician and is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, the Texas Academy of Family Practice and the Texas Medical Association. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr Oliver is married with two grown children. In his free time, he enjoys travel, reading and cycling.
