Dr. John E. Pliska, MD

Dr Chan chose a career in health care to combine her passion for science with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. She was drawn to pediatric cardiology by her fascination with the heart's anatomy and physiology and values helping families better understand their child's condition and care. Dr Chan provides individualized care for children with a wide range of heart conditions and enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and families. Her clinical interests include congenital heart disease, rhythm abnormalities, and inherited cardiac conditions. She provides and interprets echocardiograms, Holter monitors, EKGs, and exercise stress tests.

Dr Jordan Pleitz is a board-certified physician, specializing in otolaryngology. His professional interests include hearing loss, tinnitus, imbalance, acute and chronic ear infections, nasal obstruction, snoring, chronic sinusitis, recurrent and chronic tonsillitis, sleep apnea and head and neck cancer. Dr Pleitz is passionate about treating patients of all ages for a variety of ear, nose and throat conditions. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the Texas Association of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Outside of work, Dr Pleitz enjoys spending time with family, reading, running, skiing, watching movies and traveling.

Dr Fernandez attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, and then completed a residency at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple. He is board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Diplomate Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In his free time, Dr Fernandez enjoys family time, Bible study, photography and watching his kids play sports and engage in academic endeavors. Dr Fernandez has been recognized as a Top Doc 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 by Austin Monthly Magazine. Winners are nominated by their peers as among the best in their region/nation in their medical specialty.

Dr Arffa is a fellowship-trained rhinologist and general otolaryngologist. She is from Pittsburgh, PA, and completed her medical school training at the University of Pittsburgh. She then did her Otolaryngology residency at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple and completed a fellowship in Rhinology at the Sinus and Nasal Institute of Florida in St. Petersburg, FL. Dr Arffa enjoys caring for patients with problems in the fields of otolaryngology. She is a specialty-trained sinus specialist capable of caring for patients with complicated sinus problems, such as allergic fungal sinusitis, sinus tumors, inverted papilloma, CSF leak and more.

Dr Walters uses robot-assisted technology to perform minimally invasive surgery.
